You can rent a bike from the library! All you have to do is head over to the circulation desk at the library and say that you would like to rent a bike. If this is your first time renting one, you will have to fill out a waiver. Once you have filled that form out you won't have to fill anything out for a bike again. Patrons must pay a $5 maintenance fee each term (July-December, January – June). This gives participants access to the bikes for up to 6 months.
The bikes are numbered so you can either look at the bikes outside or look at the pictures we have inside. We will give you the key to the lock on the bike when you officially check it out. There is also a tire pump behind the circulation desk in case your tires get flat. When your time with the bike is up - one week after checking it out - just return it to it's spot in the rack, lock it back up and return the key.
